Hi F.it Community!

I’m Bec, and I’m in my late 50s - so yes, I’ve been around a while! This imperfect little life of mine has been full of twists and turns, but overall, it’s been wonderful.

I’m incredibly grateful for so much. That said, it’s definitely not been dull, and it’s certainly had its fair share of ups and downs.

I’m a country girl at heart, a recovering people pleaser, and a wannabe hippie (lol). I’ve always dreamed of working for myself, and over the years I’ve given it a fair crack—from selling promotional clothing in my 20s, to rugby tops and personal training in my 30s, to lentils on the Yorke Peninsula in my 40s. And now, in my late 50s, I finally feel aligned with who I am and what I care about most.

My hope for F.it is simple: that it helps you—or someone you know—through a tricky time. It’s about the little things we can do daily that genuinely make a difference in how we feel and how we show up in the world.

Like many of us, I’ve faced challenging seasons—divorce, single parenting, financial stress, loss of loved ones, and learning how to manage an anxious mind, just to name a few. I’m passionate about personal growth and wellbeing. I love yoga, weight training, and walking. I’m also a loving mum to two amazing adult daughters, and I try my best every day. Most of all, I want to help others stand tall and feel good about themselves.

One thing I know for sure is this: life is fragile. Which is why I try not to dwell on what I can’t control. As my favourite quote by Ben Crowe says,

“Focusing on something you can’t control is the definition of anxiety.”

So, I’d love for you to join our F.it community. Through small, consistent steps—and with the help of a daily mantra—you’ll smile, not sweat it, and say with confidence:

“It’s in the bucket.”
